HOW TO BECOME A SILENT MILLIONAIRE
« on: October 10, 2006, 03:57:53 PM »

I was doing some calculations and I found out how easy to make millions in Nigeria in a legit way.
All what you have to do is, involve in the stock market, buy shares and relax.
Choose any of the following companies and you will never go wrong.
Buy your shares in any of the following companies:
First Bank.
UBA.
Nigeria Breweries.
Liver Brothers.
UAC.
And probably NNPC.

The stock market varies from day to day even hour to hour. The prices of stocks and shares rise and fall.

Initially you need to buy stocks and shares in a company that is reputable and also doing well in the financial world.
Walk into any bank and ask for advise. They will have specially trained advisers who understand the stock market.
Be aware that, while you can make money in a short period of time, you have to be prepared to make a loss as well.
There is a right time to buy shares.  For example if a company is not doing well, it is unwise to invest your money.
Interstate Securities Nigeria Limited based in Lagos are well experienced in these matters.

Here is an example of a company that is doing well on the stock market.

Guinness Nigeria shareholders to get bonus
By OMODELE ADIGUN
Thursday, September 28, 2006

Guinness Nigeria Plc, to issue 295 million bonus shares. The bonus shares will be alloted in the proportion of one new ordinary  share for every four ordinary shares held by each shareholder.

A dividend payout of 400 kobo per share has been proposed for approval at the companys next Annual General Meeting scheduled for November.

These decisions were made at its Board of Directors meeting last week when the companys audited results for the year ended 30 June 2006 was approved.

Highlights of the results include a turnover of N53.7 billion which represents an increase of 14.5 per cent over the prior year results and a trading profit of N12.22 billion; against last years figure of N8.1 billion. Profit after taxation also increased by 53.1 per cent to N7.44 billion.

The Managing Director of the company, Mr. Keith Taylor said, The Company is pleased to present a good set of results for the 2005 financial year. Despite the continuing difficult trading conditions, we have reported a strong growth in trunover and trading profit. The trading profit benefited from the non-recurrence of the N3.64 million exceptional items recorded in the prior year.
The company said it is focused on growing all segments of the beer market including lager, while striving to improve shareholder value through innovation and growth.

The company invested a lot in upgrading the Guinness Foreign Extra Stout bottle, re-launched Harp Lager beer to drive the companys thrust in this important segment, and launched Guinness Extra Smooth, which captured consumers expectation in just a few weeks of launch. It also introduced yet another pre-mixed alcoholic drink, Smirnoff Ice into the Nigerian market.
The benefits of these initiatives are evident in these results and will continue in the years to come, the company assured.

Guinness Nigeria Plc is a member company of Diageo Plc, the worlds leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverages and alcoholic brands across spirits, wines and beer categories. Diageo is a global company trading in over 180 markets around the world.

Hello

You are right about buying of shares. To add to what you have said, investing in shares is a long term issue but it is worth it when you think of your children who are to benefit greatly from it, especiallly when the value of the shares appreciates greatly

However some brokers are licensed to do housemanship.
This is where vast sums of money are invested over night
and there is a quick return on your investment.
