Is cyber cafe dead in Nigeria, since means of connecting to the internet are getting cheaper daily

Some cafe's in Naija are dead. Only a few are goog

I think Cyber cafes will always be  around.

People travel from one country to another

and need to get online. It is not always

convenient to carry your laptop around.

Especially in Nija with power surges,

before you know it your laptop is dead.

I think also that..for students and not

so well off, or those just establishing

themselves, in a new job, and yet to

save up......this is a usefull  service.



I hope the Cyber Cafe  will remain a part

of our neighbourhoods.

Infact they are also a good way to meet

people. Even if just to say hello!!!

i dont know nigeria but everytime i talk with my relatives in there is problem all the time go down and is difficult to send a foto a file is reject all the time.but i think one of the problems is the owner of the shop dont have computers updates and maybe olds and try make profits from the outher people in bad away.

I agree with you.  Systems need to be updated on a regular basis, but as you know this is expensive. I guess everyone is doing their best to
provide a service and it takes time to get everything perfect.
