ATM in Nigeria
« on: May 23, 2006, 08:54:15 PM »
The use of ATM in Nigeria is growing rapidly, experts are of the opinion  that banks have no business installing, running and Managing ATM; could this be a money making venture for budding entrepreneurs who can set up and manage ATM franchise business in Nigeria?

I would think that, in order for anybody to want to Run and Manage ATM machines,
they would need loads of money.

I mean look at securicor, they lost 53.million .

Imagine how much they had in the warehouse, considering they do loads of
other contracts like delivering expensive items to people/companies.

I hope that everyone using an ATM remembers to destroy those little
bits of paper properly. Identity theft is a serious issue.
And.. Never write you pin down. If you must, disguise it as a phone number.
Do not let anyone do shoulder surfing ..this is where people stand behind
you and look over your shoulders as you tap in your PIN

Business idea would only work when you put it into practice.
Its almost 5 years ago that vdex talked about the possibility of ATM working in Nigeria.
Today its more than working. Therefore, my people no matter  how silly your idea might be just go for it.
