What do you think about inter-racial relationships? 
I feel that as a young black woman in this society, I am judged more by my brothers if I were to date outside my race.
Whats your view points??

hiya in my point of view i dont agree i'm white and i live my life with a nigerian woman and i be accept for her family and my family accept as well,but i understand you point of view but if you love someboby and him love you to go in front

I'm personally not into dating white men, for 1, I'm not attracted to them, and 2, I am too attracted to black brothers  .. However, I am not against interacial relationships as long as it's not a case of a black man or woman saying he/she ONLY dates outside their race, and gives unsubstanciated reasons for doing so,(example) black woman are too argumentative / black men have no money etc..

I have nothing against inter racial relationships if you are goin out with the person because they are THEMSELVES and you are attracted to them.

However i think the current rate of interracial relationships amongst black people is DISPICCABLE. Really and truely black people have the highest rate of interracial relationships then any other race. This is definately sayin something - like I WANT A VISA NOW NOW NOW - or mostly it is sayin things like I AM SO AGAINST/INSECURE bout my own culture that ima try and blend in to somebody elses.

Now - why wud a white man go out wit a black girl tryin 2 b white, y not go for the real thing - vice verse. But if 2 people fall in love bein themselves i dnt mind thats different. Sadly the case is that black people like goin out with other races that try to be black. What kinda stuppidness is that? Whats so bad about nice black skin? black hair? black attitude? We have been thru so many trials and tribulations - thats why black women are the way they are. Black men complain - im black no one wants to employ me but black women have 2 counts. 1. They're black, 2. They're female. AND WE STILL SUCCEED!

You cant beat that. So yeah we are tuff and hard - many times because we have seen what are parents have gone thru and we dont wanna go through the same thing.

Trust we are sendin a message to other races bout our high rates of inter racial children. U know that the biggest growin race in Britain is the mixed race - In about 25 years everyone will be mixed a black person will be exotic in this country.

As for me - i plan to maintain this beautiful inheritance God blessed me with!

People always complain about other people's personal decisions.

If you had one leg they would point and say..OOo look chinky

has one leg. If you are blind they will make a point of that too.

I am comeing at this inter racial thing as a product of  an

inter racial marriage.  When my parents got together it was the

ultimate taboo. Mixed babies were given away to be adopted.

Thank God things have changed.

I totally agree that some people are insecure about their race.

Some are seeking the visa status thru marriage. That is just

deciet. And you know what...some people still have not

woken up, and keep falling victim. Then there are some who

are so good at pretending their love is genuine, they are

Master Craftsmen at  deceiving and scamming an innocent

man/woman.

Let me leave this on a positive note... There are people

out there that see the other persons soul rather than

their skin.  I believe we fall in love not because of

skin colour or race but because that persons pheromes

call out to us. Pheromes don't see colour, it is

purely down to chemical reaction.

Humans just don't want to move out of their immediate

circle. What if we all stayed in our village or streets and

never moved around?  You know what would happen then?

Please everyone Love because you are drawn to that persons

soul and not their location creed or colour.

Ok. Lets look at this logically. Granted we are all human, we all bleed red...I know all that.
Who can answer this question for me??
Consider all the races that exist on earth and all the possible combinations and permutations...
i.e Asians and blacks, blacks and whites, indians and Asians  ....etc
Why is it that the most common of then all is black & ...
You would hardly see Asians marrying outside their race...or Indians..or ppl from the middle east .
Just take a walk on the streets of any multicultural (melting pot) country like Canada, U.K. or the U.S.
I`m not against interracial marriages if its based on love and shared interests. Its the statistics that baffles me.

what you see today is a result of people trying to

keep their race PURE.

God said go forth and multiply. No where did he say

do not mix with any other race?

People are afraid of outsiders and what they do not

know or understand.

All I will say is  Marry for love.

I dont think Black people set out to increase their numbers.

Infact facts show that Mixed Race people are the largest

number and there is comeing a time when that is what you

will see mostly.

Segregation started when God brought about the languages

at Babel. They could not understand each other so those

who spoke the same language gathered together and went

to create their own communities. Now what you see today

is a knock on effect. Before you say..obviously this is God's

plan..may I point out the reason for the change from

speaking one language to many was the fact that, Nimrod

was trying to build a temple to reach Heaven. He was an

opposer of God. To stop this work God confused the people

by introduceing languages. Cleary you can now see how

people begin to make their own rules in life. But that does

not make them right.

We are all God's children. God is not racist.

This is starting to sound like Hilter and his foolish ideas to

preserve the blond blue eyed traits.

I find it hard to believe that black people will be extinct'd in years to come.  I think there are too many people these days watchin what other people are doing instead of getting on with their on lives. 

Why must we be judge and jury in every situation. Just because someone decides to date out of their race is really none of my business. I've got a friend dating a guy at the moment who is not the same race as her and she gets dirty looks on the street.
I even dated a guy who when he saw a black sister with someone outside her race he shouted abuse and made rude comments. What the heck has it got to do with these people anyway, It's not like they are the ones dating or even related to these people.

What I'm trying to say is let people live their on lives. If anyone out there is religious would you stop talking to GOD because he wasn't the same colour as you??? or even Jesus Christ? Would you judge him too?

care for one another.

Skin colour is like the shades of colours

you see amongst plants they are beautiful.

WE are all beautiful no matter what color

we are. How boreing it would be to revolve

in a circle amongst *your own tribe or race*

I have to say I think it is hard to find any

PURE race.  If only it was affordable and

everyone could take their DNA sample,

and check you would find nobody is pure anything.

In all reality we are descended from  Noahs children.

I noticed one problem with people who THINK they know about interracial relationships.

They really despise 2 people who love each other being happy.

They would rather see 2 people be together, miserable and unhappy, but stay together

because they are from the same race.

No wonder there are so many unhappy couples. I would rather be with someone for

who they are. Not their race. Does the person make you smile? When you think about

them does your heart skip a beat? Do you get excited with butterflies in your tummy?

That is what one should be looking for in a partner. This whole race and colour thing makes no sense.

It is just another form of segregation and prejudice.

I look at my own family, and we are so blessed because of the richness of the various cultures

we have come to know. I have grown in knowledge and understanding of other cultures.

I would not have it any other way.

i think people have become confused - of course black people are not heading for extinction - BUT the black race in England is definately going to me a minority in about 25 years to come.

Mixed race is the fastest growing race in england - and if people think that the rates of immigration into this country is going to exceed this than think again! All i am sayin is - our frequency is going to die down

I have nothing against interraciail relationships for the right reason being love because love is independant of colour.

What do you mean Black race is going to be in the minority in 25 yrs?

First let me ask for clarification. When you say black race, do you mean

black skinned people? Because many mixed race people refer to themselves

as black.  In America there is a law that says, as long you have 1 drop of

black blood in you, you are black. No matter how white your skin is.

Infact so many whites have since found out they are not white but infact

of the Black race.  I don't  see any race being a minority. People are

People. We need to stop labelling humans and putting them in boxes.

I consider myself of the Black race.

Would you say Ibos yorubas, Hausas and all other Nigerian tribes should

stick to their own tribe, since this would constitue, intertribal marriage

and this would not be keeping the tribe *PURE*?

If God  was worried about interracial and intertribal marriages, He

would have made a law against it.

As they say..If I cut myself, I bleed red, If you cut yourself you bleed red.

By the way have you been counting people according to the colour of

their skin, or where do you get your figures from?

As a product of an interracial marriage which began in the 1950s

can you please tell me what is wrong with interracial marriages

and children?  I do not see us going around counting how many

blacks, whites, red brown and yellow people of other races ther are. So why are

you so worried? Is this affecting your daily life, your 3 square meals

a day, or your job?  We are not aliens about to take over the world.

 

Paranoia and hysteria seem to be the 2 words that come to mind.

Live and let live. God blesses people to get pregnant. If it was not

meant to happen then one race would not be able to have children

with another race. I guess you want a head count done huh?

Just how many different mixes are you ready to break it down into,

and will you be fitting us into colour codes?
